CORPORATE partnership

Partner With Us
Becoming a partner organization means making a direct impact in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, we are able to support hundreds of thousands of people with free food every year. Your partnership can help us feed even more⏤all while keeping good food out of the landfill!

Volunteer
Every business can reap huge rewards by connecting employees to opportunities to engage with and improve their community. We specialize in creating meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals and large groups and are always looking for extra assistance with efforts such as our Mobile Food Market, food recovery initiatives, and fundraising. Contact us to learn more about customized volunteering and team-building experiences.

Learn with We Don’t Waste
Corporate groups can learn about food waste and what we can all do to make a difference! Try an in-office food waste audit, an educational presentation (or two), or a lunch and learn! In addition, our team can help you facilitate an At-Home Food Waste Audit Challenge for your office and employees looking to have a long term, meaningful impact in reducing their food waste at home. Experiences can be done virtually or onsite in your office!

Event Sponsorship
We Don’t Waste holds a few flagship events each year, inspiring awareness of the issues of food insecurity and food waste and bringing together community in celebration of food access. Fill a Plate for Hunger and Canstruction Colorado are two of the recurring fan favorites. Event sponsorship includes exclusive cause-marketing benefits showcasing your commitment to uplifting the community, and enjoy event perks for your team.

program sponsorship
Sponsor one of We Don’t Waste’s programs, like our Mobile Food Markets, our education team, or our volunteer program to name a few. Enjoy public visibility for your support, impact stats as a result of your sponsorship, and additional cause-marketing benefits. Need to hit your corporate responsibility goals? Let our team know and we can put together a package that supports both people and planet.

Volunteer PTO (VTO)
Some companies offer programs that establish a certain number of paid volunteer time off (or VTO) hours team members accrue each year for designated volunteer projects. Contact your supervisor to see if your team offers VTO.
Volunteer Grants & Time Match Programs
Volunteer grants are a specific type of corporate giving program that encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work.
Through these initiatives—which are also commonly referred to as Dollars for Doers, volunteer matches, or time match programs—companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees regularly volunteer. This is typically done by offering a set dollar amount that’s dependent on the number of hours a team member spends volunteering.
