Our Mission

We support the community and the environment by reclaiming and redistributing quality food to those in need.

The Problem

40% of all food produced is thrown away, while our neighbors go hungry. This has devastating effects in our community and to our planet.

The Face of Hunger

Hunger, and the ever present threat of hunger, are growing in Colorado. Feeding America estimates that more than 37 million Americans seek emergency food assistance in a single year. Finding ways to reduce food waste in Colorado and our country can help bring food to the tables of those in need.

Our Planet

Growing, producing and transporting food uses most of the fresh water available on the planet, and then 40% of the food produced is thrown away and left to produce methane in landfills.

Our Solution

Our one of a kind food recovery network connects the food from purveyors who want to avoid food waste with community organizations who need food to serve their populations.

Food Recovery

Our hunger-fighting network starts with our donors. We collect unused food from venues, caterers, distributors, and other food purveyors and distribute it to under-served populations. Our efforts augment existing food needed by community-based non-profit agencies, with high quality protein and produce, along with wholesome, nutritional and varied meals.

Food Distribution

Our hunger-fighting network extends to every corner of the Denver-Metro area and beyond, reaching up and down the Front Range, and as far as the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. We work with organizations like food banks, soup kitchens, community centers, homeless shelters and numerous facilities providing food. Organizations who serve veterans, children, the homeless, the elderly and the working poor regularly receive nutritious food from us.

Our Impact

Since our inception in 2009, we have recovered over 38 million servings of food.
